Close Call

I've been thinking a lot about what a close call we had. My whole focus was on Marty getting better. I thought about the fact that he may lose his foot or something, but the thought never crossed my mind that he might die. When the doctor told us that before he went home, it just hit me like a ton of bricks. I think it really surprised him too. Please pray for his continued recovery and that it comes quickly. The pneumonia is much better so he's "feeling" better, he is just supposed to stay off of his foot most of the time. That is very hard for him. Please pray for patience and wisdom. I would also like to thank everyone again for their prayers, visits, calls, and food. It is such a blessing to have a church family that truly is your "family". We love you all.

Love you guys. Sorry I haven't been able to check on you much lately. Things around here have been chaotic. I do pray that Marty and Amy don't kill each other...HA!

That's always a concern. Marty says the nurses at the hospital are a whole lot nicer and less grumpy than his one at home!!! LOL Love you too! Don't worry about it. Is there anything you need that I can do for you? Just let me know and I'm there!!!

Andy, we're continuing to pray. If you guys need us to do anything at all, don't hesitate to ask. I mean that in the most sincere way. I know that it's a nice gesture to offer help, but usually people don't like to ask for help, so please don't think that this is just a nice gesture. Please let us know how we can help.
