Believing in Healing

I will start this off by saying that I believe in the power of God's healing touch. I also know though how very hard it is to see the one you love dealing with physical things daily and still believe in that healing. No one will ever convince me that God cannot and will not heal Marty. I know He will and is. I am just having a little bit of trouble right now seeing what Marty is going through right now. Marty's problems have always been on the inside. His sugar not being regulated, infections, etc. Now he has an ulceration on his foot and it's a very scary thing. It's on the outside and I see it every day and am reminded that if we don't take care of it EXACTLY as the doctor says and do everything the doctor says things could happen that I really don't want to deal with. Please pray for this situation. Pray for Marty's quick recovery from this ulceration and also for his complete healing from diabetes. I would also appreciate your prayers for me. I need to stand strong right now and that is very difficult. I love you all.

Andy, I can't imagine how scary this must be. I will pray for Marty's healing, and for your strength during this.

I know exactly what you are saying. I deal with it 24/7 also. I heard something the other night on TBN that really helped me. I want to share it.

God is the healer. He said in His word we ARE healed. We can stand on that word and it will come to pass. The problem is, if we suffer or don't see the manifestation of it quick or in OUR time, we tend to get discouraged and then our beliefs and "standing on the Word" and our confession begins to lessen. The thing he was talking about is there is usually a waiting time before your miracle. Look at Abraham and Sarah. They had the promise yet it was YEARS before it came to pass. There were more but I won't go into them all.
We have to DECIDE to stand, believe and confess no matter how long it takes or what the situation looks like. We can't allow our beliefs to dwindle. So stand strong. By His stripes we ARE healed. That is the TRUTH. What you see physically may be the fact but it isn't the TRUTH! Things that are seen are subject to change.
Stand firm and don't ever give up. Don't even allow satan to hear you even say your faith is shrinking. He will take it and run with it.

I will be praying for Marty's TOTAL healing as well.
Love You both.

Andy, you and Marty are wonderful. Marty will be healed and the Lord will give you what you need to be there for him in the mean time.

Lord, I just lift Marty and Andy up to you in prayer. Please be with them through this rough time and give them the strength to get through it. I pray that their faith would be strengthened and they can stand on your word for Marty's complete healing.
