Thinking About Friends
I've been thinking about friends a lot lately. Friends here and friends far away. It's amazing how God can put people in your path at different times in your life and regardless of how long you know them they can get a hold of your heart and change you. I have friends that I have had for years and they have become a part of my life, but I also have some friends that are thousands of miles away who I only spent a short time with and they also have etched a place in my heart and that will never change.
I look at the relationships that have grown with our teenagers. The group of kids in our youth group have created a bond with each other that is so strong. These kids truly love each other and are there for each other. I've seen these kids grow up and some of them have fought like cats and dogs through the years, but I look at them now and they are devoted to one another.
I want to say right now that God has given me some wonderful friends. Some here and some far away. They are a part of me and a part of our family. We love you so much. Be blessed

You are so right. It's illogical and absurd that after only a few days, the Frenchies have had such an everlasting impact on my life. I love them all so much and they will forever be part of my family. And you guys (the Sparks) are considered family more than friends to us Slaughters. :)
I don't know if we've ever told you guys this, but you and Marty are among our favorite people in the world. There are not a lot of people at church that really go out of their way to reach and and love us like you guys do, and it really means a lot to us. I know that sounds selfish, but I just wanted you to know how special you are.
andy i love you! and u know it's the same thing for me, u all r a part of my life and i can't forget u! thanks for my birthday comment :) i miss u
