Coming Home

I can't believe that two weeks have passed so quickly!!! Tomorrow (or really today) is going to be so hard. Someone told me that once you go to France the people get in your heart. Now I know what they are talking about. In two short weeks we have built relationships that will last a lifetime. We have been so blessed to meet so many wonderful people who have taken such good care of us. They give from their hearts and you can see the love of God moving through them. We are going to have the privilege of bringing their children home with us and that will make it a little easier to leave, but I can imagine that there will be many tears shed at the airport. It will be good to see Amanda and Drew, Dallys and Dylan, as well as everyone else, but it's going to be so very hard. I will post again soon with many pictures. Love to all. Be blessed.

Happy Birthday Amy Christine

It's hard to believe that 16 years ago today my beautiful baby girl was born. I called her my "little peach" because her head felt like she had peach fuzz all over it. As most of you know that peach fuzz turned into beautiful long curls on a little girl that refused to wear anything but a dress. She was our Miss Priss with an attitude. She's not so much the Miss Priss anymore, but she still has the attitude!!!! God is turning that attitude into something He can use and Amy has become a young lady who sticks up for the little guy and stands up for what she believes. There are times that gets her into a little bit of trouble, but I truly believe God is going to use her for His service in a big way!!! She's compassionate and loving and truly cares about how other people feel. She's also a very hard worker. She has worked so hard this summer raising money to take with her to France. I am so proud of her. Happy Birthday Amy. Mom loves you!!
